Electric Air for my 2002 Audi S6 Avant (station wagon)

I just had to do an engine replacement at 149K because I got lied to about the timing belt. New rig is not new, but runs great. A Torqamp rig is nice, but spendy.
I'd like something with a bit larger capacity (4.2 liter V-8). The Torq would fit in my engine compartment, but wouldn't be large enough to move the V-8. Thinking about a 48 volt rig in the rear spare tire well, pipe the air under the car with some trick oval tubing, and put the battery back there, too. Already have a Class I hitch back there. Like to keep it, but the sheetmetal that is the spare tire well is totally open for mutilation. Could use the weight in the rear, too.

Any and all questions, suggestions or comments are welcome

The question I have is, do you know where to start? It is in fact a long process. We can suggest you 1000 different things but you need to be more specific. Having the set up all in the back is a good idea for couple things but have its own cons to it. 48v may be enough but at the same time maybe not. Depend of your set up and everything
