Belt issues

Please help, I had a horrible vibration and tore up my first belt. Please see photo. It appears the diameter of the sc pully is small enough to keep the belt teeth from dropping in. See photos of my project please. 289B4459-AD15-49BB-863B-C0A18E3626AC.jpeg87A0EE8D-FA7F-430E-B044-406AD82FC24E.jpeg

The belt does not look like a T (T5) pitch belt!
It has rounded teeth ... e.g . ... and probably not metric 5mm pitch but an imperial pitch!

mine sits flush on the pulley! (I can tell with my fingers around! optically the bearing is in the way ... not going to pull that ;) )

oh ... and of course you need a T5 pitch pulley motor side as well!

(Both pulleys and belts are not so easily available in T5!)

This is what I bought. 325-5M-25 HTB Timing Belt | 325mm Length, 5mm Pitch, 25mm Width, 65 Teeth and 320-5M-25 GAS SCOOTER DRIVE BELT MOBY SX / X / S 23CC 25CC 26CC 33CC 43CC 45CC, I will buy mcmaster car belt. The motor pully is fine but maybe not with T5.

I was shooting for 52k rpm. I went with a 33 cout tooth on motor vs 18 on the supercharger. I am looking for a good uplift in my 6.2l. I put the e85 conversion on it and tuned it to 450 rwhp. I ran it on the track and got 11.9 1/4mile without supercharger. I just wanna be in the 10s. Anyone know what speed i neet to turn the turbine? My hobywing spins 28k at 300 amps.

cmoalem is right - it's a T5 belt (he's the first one to discover that, iirc). However, I'm really interested in how your setup works out - it might work better than the castle motor. Definitely keep us posted.
